As a group leader, my role is to ensure that we as a group had a clear path on the project and implemented it maximally. I also made sure that everyone feels comfortable in contributing to the group based on their interest and expertise.
Other than that these are my contributions for my group project:
Backend
I was responsible for almost everything related to backend. I made the backend based on our groups Database Diagram (ERD) with Django. I also made sure that the website is capable in doing CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, and Delete) effectively and fast. This requires structuring the code well, avoiding repeated codes, and various different techniques.
Development Environment
I also helped my team in setting up the development environment for frontend and backend for all of my friends. This requires installing python package management control (PIP) and the required library used by the website for the backend. For frontend this requires installing gulp and its packages for live reloading and bootstrap integration. I also made the repository of the project at github to make our group teamwork easier.
Database Checking and Validation
Database checking and validation was also one of my contribution for my team. I validated and checked the database ERD and structure to make sure its in 3NF form. This is crucial because without being 3NF the website could not be as good as todays website standard.
